Mother Nature Project is the first nature-based specialist Parent-Infant service of its kind.

All parent’s need and deserve support.

At Mother Nature Project, we support parents emotionally, providing access to therapeutic support, psychoeducation, arts, and nature – all in the beautiful private outdoor setting of Elle’s Garden. Everyone can benefit from Mother Nature Project.

Mother Nature Project aims to help give mothers and their babies the best start. Courses will pilot this summer; groups of up to 8 women, meeting weekly, 6 weeks per course. There will be separate groups for pre and post-natal mothers. Each session will be led by a fully trained psychotherapist. There will also be specially selected perinatal specialist guests. These courses are tailored to support mum’s wellbeing and the future wellbeing and long-term mental and physical health of baby.

Delivered in the beautiful grounds of Elle’s Garden, this nurturing group supports reflective functioning and mentalizing. With a mix of psychoeducation, practical, and creative elements, we will cover a new theme each week to help prepare for and think about baby. You will better understand the importance of the parent-infant relationship in your child’s development, take time to look after yourself so you can provide the best start for baby, learn about some important theories, hear from others, and connect with each other through connecting with nature and art. In this containing, confidential, safe space, we make space for you and baby.

Meet and really connect with other mums, enjoy the benefits of being in nature, learn basic psychoanalytic theory, practice mentalizing & reflective functioning, share difficulties & joys, feel held, create artwork, and grow together.
